POLITICS: Well, the Old Navy guy did about as well as we expected and Slick Barry did better than we anticipated. However, we scored the Economic (Leher felt he had to justify it with a Quote from Eisenhower and a statement that the economy "by definition" --never saying what his definition was--was part of Foreign Policy!) Portion of the Debate 92 - 68 in favor of McCain. This segment took up 38% of the allot ed time

Wasn't it a relief that after awhile, the moderator quit trying to get them into a catfight?

In the Foreign Policy segment, We scored it 112 to 80.

We did not take points away for the 27 outright lies and distortions committed by the Junior Senator from Illinois.

McCain had none, that we could discern.

Have you seen Sandra Bernhardt's rant at Theatre J on U-tube? She seems strung out on something as she calls Republican Party Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin a Bitch and a Whore among other things, and rails against Christianity in a rant that may well become the poster boy for vicious and violent hate speech.

Not in the Video, but widely reported is her warning to the Governor not to come to Manhattan, less she be gang raped by Bernhardt's "Black Brothers".

Jews everywhere should be mortified by this performance and her comments on the Old Testament.

Remember when Cosmo Kramer called some hecklers "niggers" on stage and was required to do multiple mea culpas before the world?

What has been the feedback on this washed up comedian's rant? Actually, so far mostly positive.

I still don't get why there is all this deep-seated personal hatred against Palin. Bernhardt expressed it in terms of being against the womens' movement. I don't see that...

Junior thinks they are pissed because she is all that they can't be. I wonder.

I know the First Amendment recognizes our God-given right to Free Speech, but isn't it limited in some instances?

If I was a prosecutor in New York, I would find some reason, -- Menacing, harassment, hate speech--there must be some law in operation here that prevents people from publicly threatening government leaders with physical harm. If not, there should be.

Is the Secret Service listening to all this???

Sandra Bernhardt is a tortured soul, and I know it's hard to pray for ugly things that look and sound like demons, but maybe we could pray that she finds some peace in her life... I just don't know.

THE VIEW VERSUS CHELSEA LATELY

It is 5:39 a.m. and 51 degrees out and Patrick and Junior fell asleep on the couch in front of the TV.

POLITICS: OK, so here's the deal: Some of you have asked why I railed against Chelsea Handler for dissing Sarah, but have not condemned The View for attacking John McCain.

I think it may be a matter of Style...

Look, here's a comparison:

Chelsea is an insult comedian--that's what she does. But she does it with a smile. She could still meet Lindsay Lohan at a party and a fight may not break out. But she broke her mold--she usually restrains herself and limits herself to maybe a one liner aimed at Bush once in a while. But Her attack on Sarah--it was mean, calculated, in bad taste (well that's not exactly new territory for Miss Handler) and not based in truth at all, and as we know, insult comedy must have a grain of truth to be funny.

All in all, Handler shows she was not ready for Prime Time and would not make it Live from New York on Saturday Night.

We could have forgiven her for all that and chalked it up to her handlers (NPI) failing to her enlighten her, for after all, she clearly has no sense of taste, but no, she sealed her fate with us when she laughed maniacally at the thought of John McCain dying in office. Sorry , dear, you revealed your ugly puss-filled, diseased insides to us, and now whenever we look at your buck toothed horse-faced sexiness, we just want to gag. How's that, bitch?

The View's attack on McCain was different. The ladies of the View are KNOWN for their snarky far left agenda and dissing anyone who shares the American Dream. We expect it of them, It's what they do. Did they even outdo themselves (In the non-Rosie era) the other day? Perhaps. But was it unforgivable? No.

The current crop of left wing loonies on The View fall into three distinct types:

Whoopie, a Negro Actress, falls into the part of smart person who got brainwashed by the Far Left--She actually believes the tripe she spouts. She is capable of some twisted logic, such as feebly attempting to link Strict Constitutionalists with Slave Owners.

BaBA WaWa, on the other hand, is part of a dying breed: Scion of the old Jewish Entertainment Communists. She is smart, but Knows what she's doing and is a committed Leftist. She reins the show in to keep it from going over the edge(think Rosie) but the advent of Sarah even has HER off her game,in hatred for America.

Joy Behar is just a moron ex-Catholic sheeple who has memorized a few Commie talking points, so is not worth the effort at analyzing.

The other Negro actress, who I think is at least a Christian, I haven't listened to so much and I don't even know if she was there the other day.

And of course, our own dear Elizabeth, a Christian Survivor who married her college sweetheart (As Sarah married her high School Sweetheart)--Both of whom became Sports Champions. Elizabeth we admire for standing up to these loonies day after day for us...

Contrast Chelsea Handler, who posed in porn mags, masquerades as a Jew, and sleeps with her boss to get a leg up... (NPI)

So, in the grand scheme of things, if we're sitting at an outside table at a bar in Malibu, and any of these characters comes up and asks to sit with us, our response would be:

Sure Whoopie, have a seat--and talk about the Show Business.

Sure Barbara, have a seat --and grill her on how America's groundbreaking journalist turned into a hateful old hack.

No, Joy, get your fat Ass out of here, before I call security!

Sure Sherrie, have a seat,--and buy her a drink.

Sure Elizabeth, have a seat--and buy her a drink and gaze adoringly into those clear blue conservative eyes.

Chelsea Handler --completely ignore her, don't even look up.

Hard to see what the Additional Logging Requirements are as the cache page has a jumble of misguided right wing rhetoric on the page. I continue to object to the repeated "Support Our Troops" propaganda. Of course I support our troops, but I do not need a cache page to tell me to do that, and I do not accept the right wing desire to transform a positive "Support Our Troops" message into propaganda to support George Bush's illegal and amoral war in Iraq and the torture of prisoners in Iraq and at Gitmo.

Politics does not belong in geocaching. But if you insist on posting right wing propaganda on your pages, you must accept that some folks will object to it.

So, let me get this right. "Support our Troops" really means support an
illegal and immoral (lies, not opinion) war that condones torture in Iraq and Gitmo. I'm not sure how this stands up logically, but the Anti-American bias sure does shine through bright and clear.

"Support our Troops" is "Misguided right-wing rhetoric/ propaganda" according to this lost soul. Interesting insight to their twisted thought processes, eh?

BTW, five will get you ten he doesn't REALLY support our troops as he claims...

Well, we just listened to Barack Obama's pathetic answer to the Lipstick-on-a-Pig controversy.

He treated it as a joke, then went on the offensive claiming the McCain Campaign was manufacturing "phony" distractions and phony outrages... were liars and bad people who mucked up politics and diverted us from the issues.

If Barack really wanted to discuss the issues he would have accepted the Town Hall Meetings with Sen. McCain.

Uh, you were the one who stared this, Jack.

We here at the Outpost have no respect for this churlish childish in-water-way-over-his-head idiot. He's got all these high dollar Harvard advisers and they can't convince him to do the one HONEST thing:

TELL THE TRUTH, BOY!

Have you ever known someone who could just not for the life of them EVER admit when they were wrong, or God Forbid if they did, blame it on someone or something else?

Here's what Obama should have said:

"I wasn't referring to Gov. Palin with my Lipstick Pig remark, I was referring to the McCain Campaign Policy positions. However, in retrospect, since the governor has become identified with Lipstick, I probably should have used a different analogy. My bad."

Period. That would have been TRUTH (probably) and an end to it.

But with his disingenuous, ridiculous go-on-the-offensive remarks, I now think he MEANT to say what he did, knowing his base would know he was calling Gov. Palin a PIG, but he would enjoy plausible deniability.

We're not buying it Senator. In this case, YOU are the pig, and a not very bright one at that...

THE DRAFT DODGER

It is 7:15 a.m. and Patrick and Junior are in bed, the boarder and cats are in Rm. #4.

Junior and I went to see President Clinton at a Hillary Rally in Warsaw at a HUGE High School complex. No signs to lead anybody to the venue. Very disorganized. Event was advertised as being held from 12:45 to 3:00 in one of the gyms. We got there about 11:00 and stood in a long line. They let us in at 12:45 and we sat in the bleachers for two hours until Clinton arrived at 2:40.

Nobody to warm us up with jokes--no local candidates, no nothing. What a stupid boring time. No American Flags, no prayer, no pledge of Allegiance, no nothing, except for some piped in rock music about 15 minutes before the guest of honor arrived.

No black people either except for about three out of about 400 people. He didn't even fill up the gym. The wait in line was for naught, but you can never tell about these things. One bright spot was we sat with an old friend we hadn't seen in a long time.

We also got to see some young 60's hippy-style morons...

And a breathtaking young blonde reporterette who rivaled the looks of any chick on FNC. She was from Channel 27 and REALLY stood out in the crowd. She had a 350 lb. Black Cameraman/Bodyguard with her.

This was a poorly planned and executed event. Clinton himself was his normal charming self.

The height of the afternoon was walking out on this Draft-Dodging Adulterous Liar. I wore my First Aviation Brigade ball cap so all these dimocrats could see I was a Veteran.

It was THE WALK OF HONOR!

Afterward, we celebrated at Wings Etc. with Draft Guinness served in Guinness Glasses and wings and shrimp.

The democrat-progressives are about to pick a historical first for their presidential nominee--A woman or a Colored Man. Of all the eminently qualified women and colored men in this country, they had to pick a pair of real loser liar unqualified buffoons... So it goes.

President Bill Clinton became well known for being an inveterate teller of LIES, and now his wife is quickly catching up. She recently claimed that she visited war-torn Bosnia, or some similar craphole, while First Lady, and since snipers were reported "in the hills" she and her party had to run, head down, when their plane landed, to their waiting vehicles. We know she said this because we've seen it on video.

Is she so stupid she doesn't know her every word will be scrutinized? Wasn't long before video of her WALKING, smiling, kissing little girls etc. waving, ad nauseum turned up on the internet and Fox News. I don't know if the Enemy news outlets carried it or not.

Anyway, caught with her pants suit down, she had her lackeys issue a statement that she had "misspoke" --As far as I know SHE has not addressed the subject. They reported that, as she stated in her book, 'There were reports of snipers in the hills' and so the airport ceremonies were cut short...

I 'm not even buying that. I think the whole thing is phony and made up years ago.

Sure, landing at an airport in a combat zone, or rather area of violent unrest, is risky...

But if you were the Military Commander in the area, or whoever was in charge of her security, and you thought there was an imminent threat from snipers in the hills, would you "shorten" the ceremonies for the FIRST LADY, or just hustle her to the waiting vehicles? You'd hustle, that's for Damned sure, if you even allowed her plane to land.

This whole thing was made up. SOMEBODY asked SOMEBODY, "Are there snipers in those hills?" and was answered "It's certainly possible." and viola the LIE is born.

Could there have been "snipers in the hills"? Certainly- it's a war zone. Were there? Did they know she was coming? Doubtful. Could it rain today? Sure. Will it? No reason to believe it will...

Now, not to beat this to death, but is her memory faulty? Not likely--this would have been an event that would stand out in her memory--and she's WRITTEN about it. So what's the importance of all this?
