DOWNHILL SLIDE

MORNING GLORY

BIG YELLOW FLOWER

LITTLE YELLOW FLOWERS

MAIZE, WEEK FOUR, 3 FEET.

It is 5:55 a.m. and 73.4 degrees out--another 90 degree scorcher predicted. Patrick is asleep downstairs with Junior.

The truth? You can't handle the truth.

The bell curve of the American Republic has probably reached its zenith. The high water mark was probably WWII or maybe Ronald Reagon's administration; only history will tell, if it's written by honest folk.

America is being attacked on three fronts today. Our civilization, the highest and noblist this planet has known , has not seen danger as critical since the Civil War.

Our first enemy (centuries old) is Radical Islam. To combat it effectively we need to mobilize at least 300,000 more troops in Iraq and Afghanistan and address the Persian Problem.

The second enemy (for thirty years) is the foreign invasion from Latin America--the Spanishization of the U.S. We need to seal the border with Mexico with at least a 150,000 National Guard Troops and start shooting. Then we need to mobilize the county sheriffs and start rounding up 12 million illegals and ship them south.

The third enemy (for fifty years) is Radical Democrat Liberals. They have accelerated their assault on our government, our religion, our morals, our mores, our economy, our education system--in short everything that makes America great. They must be discredited and removed politically.

Of course, none of this will happen. The only way it could happen is with a great catastrophe, like a nuclear attack or a huge meteor hitting New York--and a righteous dictator taking over. And we probably don't want that.

So, you can read about the rise of the American Republic, and witness it's fall. With the Pelosi's and Reid's laughing all the way...

For a brief moment, their was a shining city on the hill, that was a beacon to all mankind. That was in 1955. USA, R.I.P.

On a more important note, we watched Tiger Woods yesterday in the Open on Junior's 46" in 1080i--just like being there! Really cool--you could see the dimples on his ball as he putted. And why is Tara Reid so sucessful? There must be a thousand young girls in Hollywierd with SAG cards as cute as her--and some might even be able to act...

Keep the faith.

IS SUMMER HERE YET?

OUR CATALPA TREE IN FULL BLOOM

It is 6:40 a.m. and 55.6 degrees F. here in the Wabash River Valley. Patrick is curled up on his Afghan at my feet. Junior has gone to work.

Junior dug out the fire pit yesterday, and bought some tiki torches for Camp Serenity, and we had our first bonfire last nite to inaugurate the summer party season.

I have to stay at home this morning, expecting a delivery of Coors Light from City Beverage in Huntington.

Listen to this:

“It’s like the American people are waiting for [the GOP]. They’re waiting for us to remember why we’re doing what we’re doing, about the ideas that inspired us, to remember who the leaders were that inspired us.” —Fred Thompson

This guy is our only hope, Obi-wan!

Now that we are tapped back into satellite TV, we've been surfing to see just what we got.

Yesterday, Fox News and MSNBC had about six hours of non-stop coverage of Paris Hilton's return to jail. At one time, CNN and Headline news joined in with live helicopter coverage of the police cruiser transporting her to the courthouse--shades of Oh-Jay!!

I don't know why America has crowned this ugly skinny little bitch as our Princess. It's beyond me. (The only "talent" she possess that we know of is runway model posing for cameras and thumbing her nose at authority) And why, other than money, would the Sheriff of LA County treat her like royalty, letting her go home and wanting her to phone in her court appearance? This guy has a lot to answer for.

And as for rich awomen celebs getting special priveleges in the court system ,or society in general for that matter, what's the big deal--why is the MSM so surprised -- this is nothing new, folks. RHIP--always has, always will...

ASSORTED VILLAGE IDIOTS AND FREAKAZOIDS

LATE SPRING FLOWER TOUR PART 4

THIS LOG HAS BEEN SEPARATED FROM ELM TREE FOR MONTHS, BUT CONTINUES TO GROW...

BANDIT EATING HIS BRUNCH, FIRST IN A SERIES...

LITTLE BIRDIE-BOYS IN THEIR NEST

KEEP YOUR MOUTHS OPEN!!!

BLACK RASPBERRIES

WILD ROSES?

It is 6:23 a.m. and 67.3 degrees. Yesterday we recorded a record 96 degrees here at the dogyard. Patrick is outside.

Rosie O'Donnell, the fat lesbian America-Hater had a spirited debate with Elizabeth on the View yesterday. I thought they might come to blows. It started with Joy (Oh-please-lobotomize-me) Behar reading her list of top ten reasons to impeach Bush. Guest host Sherry Shepherd, the rolly poly black girl, countered with "But he didn't sleep with Interns"--wow-guess she doesn't want this gig as a permanent job...Or does that comment just come under the category of Hollyweird joking?

Elizabeth never looked more radiant or sexy as she deftly exposed Rosie's blind ignorance, with force and dignity. A brave blonde with brains, oh yeah!!

The argument had Elizabeth challenging the fat moron's statement she made previously on the View, "I just want to say something. 655,000 Iraqi civilians are dead. who are the terrorists?"

Uh, gee Rosie, maybe the jihadists?

Clips from Rosie's tyrade are making the rounds of the news shows...

I wonder what the source of her venemous hatred of America and our troops is? Probably just some menatl disorder.

And Jimmah Carter desparately trying to spin his stupid statement of several days ago, claims he "certainly was not talking personally about any president" when he stated "this administration is the worst"

Oh, so either he doesn't know who the President is in this administration, or he's just a weasily LIAR. Can't have it both ways, Jimmah--you outed yourself, we didn't.

On a more serious note, a couple of quotes from politicians who still have some semblance of sanity left, courtesy the Patriot Post:

“A ‘comprehensive’ plan doesn’t mean much if the government can’t accomplish one of its most basic responsibilities for its citizens—securing its borders. A nation without secure borders will not long be a sovereign nation.” —Fred Thompson

“When we pass a bill that gives people the impression that there are new benefits to be had in the United States... you will have a stampede for the U.S. border that will overwhelm our border forces.” —Duncan Hunter

I spotted the dad of our nesting pair of American Kestrals the other day. They have been hanging out every Spring in the same old Elm Tree outside our office window. The are know as "Sparrow Hawks" and are in reality small falcons. There is also a low nest full of babie birdies in the same tree, built precariously on some dead fallen branches in a fork of the trunk.

SPRING FLOWER TOUR, PART ONE

I'M SLOWLY CHOPPING AWAY AT THE GIMONGOUS LIMB THAT FELL OFF THE ELM TREE IN THE BACKYARD COURTESY OF A LATE WINTER THUNDERSTORM.

THIS IS THE BUSH AT THE FLORIDA ROOM UNDER THE CATALPA TREE. HAVEN'T A CLUE AS TO WHAT IT IS.

THE SHRIMP PLANT OUT FRONT

THE TULIPS(?) OUT BY THE REMC POLE

It is 6:15 a.m. and clear and 52.7 degrees out. Patrick is curled up on his afghan at my feet.

I haven't done a Spring Flower Tour yet this year, because they've been sparse--not too many wildflowers have popped up around here, altho they are in the woods in abundance. We had an unseasonably hot week, then a week-long hard freeze, and that killed a lot of buds and new growth. Everything around here has come back, except my baby Sycamore tree is struggling. No, don't worry-- the grape cuttings are going wild. The daffodils came up, but didn't last long. Junior's Grammaw went berserk and chopped hers down with shears since they didn't bloom. That seals THEIR fate.

The Antique lilacs bloomed, half-heartedly.

So anyway, I've uploaded a few shots. It's still early, anyway.
