HAPPY BIRTHDAY HONEST ABE!!!

Yesterday's Blog disappeared into thin air. Today is Thor's Day, at 5:48 a.m. Rosie, Ben and Bing are on the bed, Sadie is at the foot of the Bed, and Mr. Darcy is in a hole in the backyard. IT IS TEN DEGREES IN HUNTINGTON INDIANA AND 50 DEGREES HERE IN PALM HARBOR FLORIDA.

Mr. Darcy took ill night before last and Rosie took him to the vet yesterday morning when he was discovered in distress--fluid in lungs, cause uncertain,resuscitated twice, then put down by the vet. Cost 360 bucks. I buried him in the backyard. Rosie is understandably upset. But he had a good life and went fast. So it goes. Sweet little really laid back cat.

Went to Hooker Island last night and ate burgers and drank PBR's on the Patio. Nobody there, too cold for anybody. Just a few regulars at the bar, Heaters were on. Unseasonably cold here now, it should bed around 70 degrees. Damn that Al Gore and his Global warming!!!

Go gators. Going to the State Fair today- cold and rainy should be a blast, but what can you do???
