WHY DOES THE RADICAL LEFT HATE SARAH PALIN WITH SUCH VICIOUSNESS?

It is 6:57 and 46. 9 degrees out, but it doesn't feel it. Patrick and Junior are asleep.

POLITICS: There has not been mounted so vicious a smear campaign against a national political figure since Barry Goldwater. And it seems that that one will pale in insignificance to this one. Is it that communications are more universally available in this Obama Age? The internet and all the cable news outlets--giving every serial killer mentality the ability to broadcast to the world? So it just SEEMS this way, by virtue of the sheer magnitude of the communications available.

Was it that back in the Goldwater days, people as vile and dishonest and dishonorable were not given a voice? And now we see them slither out from under the refuge of puss-dripping hatred?

I think it's more than that. The new atmosphere of vile and violent hatred, perhaps best exemplified by that incredibly ugly washed up girl comedian in New York, who threatened to have Gov. Palin gang-raped by a crew of her black brothers, and was not prosecuted (or even criticized), is firmly entrenched in our society.

Our society has finally reached the stage of cultureless, Godless, honor-less, morals-less, melting pot of mediocrity brought on by communist influences.

McCain was on track to eke out a victory. Now this Credit Crunch deal happens, and it is the death of his campaign.

So, maybe it doesn't matter if the unqualified Manchurian Candidate is elected. It will just hasten the fall of this once magnificent civilization. The death of democracy and Christianity as we know it.

So it's been a nice ride--glad the twentieth was the century I was born into. I see no great leader rising up to lead us from the edge of the abyss. Goodbye White Man. Good Bye Black Man. Good bye America!
