SARAH PALIN KO's JOE BIDEN; GWEN IFFIL IS A NO-SHOW

Some sites have Indiana listed as a battleground state. (gulp!) Don't' worry that's all about to change! I have to admit that I was really nervous about the VP debate. Since seeing snippets of Gov. Palin's less than stellar performance trying to field Bitch Couric's Gotcha questions and final exam questions, and hearing that some "conservative" pundits were calling for her removal--we were envisioning her go into shock and run from the stage, screaming and crying.

Oh, ye of little faith!!

Joe Biden didn't do a bad job in the debate; rather, he did quite well.

IT'S JUST THAT GOV. PALIN DID SO MUCH BETTER!!!

She zinged him more than once, she countered his lies, and called him out on them, and talked directly to the American People. She was BRILLIANT!!

On a ten-point must system, we gave it to Palin 19 rounds to ZERO!!!

We scored it 190-147.

Biden threw around so many numbers our eyes glazed over. At the 30 second mark of anything he said, our eyelids started getting heavy. Boy did we wake up when Sarah Palin spoke!!!

We counted 16 outright lies and distortions of fact committed by Biden, none for Palin. Some were outrageous. Oddly enuff, after the debate, Carl Rove said he counted ten errors in fact and six that were arguable. Wow!!! Gwen Iffil didn't even show up. She asked the questions, and said or did little else. I guess she indicated to the participants somehow about when their time was up.

The disclosure that she was in the tank for B. Hussein Osama, and had a vested financial interest in his election, really caused her to shut down. I think she adopted the attitude that if I don't say or do anything, they can't criticize me. Several of the questions contained mildly veiled mini-zingers to the debators. I wouldn't be surprised if she modified some of them in an effort to appear not to be critical of Palin. She phoned it in. Good.

So this should be worth 2-4 points worth of bump for McCAin-Palin.

Sarah was concise, smart, personable, beautiful, and tough. She was one of us. Biden tried to be. He's not. He lied, she told the truth.

MEDIA:

Bill O'Riley eviscerated Barney Rubble Frank yesterday on his show, in a prolonged Shouting Match, in which O'Riley called him a "coward" for not owning up to contributing to the credit crisis. Frank lied his stupid ass off. Frank should be kicked out of the House.

In a non related event, our favorite pundit Dick Morris went off on Alien Alan Combs on the Hannity show last night also--the enmity between these two was palpable. I thought was going to punch Alan, altho you could tell he wouldn't want to touch a leper. He told Combs (The most obnoxious guy on TV) to let him talk or don't invite him on the show. Sean was chuckling. He called Alan stupid. Alan bit his lip and looked as tho he was going to cry. There must have been a camel straw here that set Morris off --these two should go down to the lobby and order a few double scotches and chill. Altho Alan IS extremely annoying ALL the time... OK, we really fell good about all this now. Let's just get the market settled down.

PS--Junior made a deal on a jeep!!!! More on that later. Just converting paper assets to hard assets, folks, wink, wink!!
