McCAIN WINS DEBATE: SO WHAT?

It is 53 degrees out and at 4:47 a.m. Patrick and Junior are asleep downstairs.

ELECTION: We scored the Presidential Debates last night using the 10-point Must System. The results:

Rounds: 14-2 McCain
Points: 166-78 McCain
Lies: 17-0 Obama

McCain was a lot more forceful this time around trying to nail Obama, but somehow his heart didn't seem to be in it, or he was inept at it. He missed big opportunities. On the other hand, Obama was very adept at lying, and McCain didn't call him on it much. This debate will not help him.

The only thing that can save McCain now is if the economy makes a big , swift dramatic turn-around (doubtful) or we are attacked by terrorists or aliens.(not Mexican, Outer Space)

Prepare for the worst. (gulp) We put a Palin yard sign up in the front yard yesterday that we got from the Victory Center in Ft. Wayne when we picked up our tickets for Sarah's Rally in Indianapolis Friday.

GATORS: While in the Fort, we went to the Mall, and Junior got some stuff we will need for the Vandy game, Gator Camp Chair, Gator beer cozy, Gator decals, a plush football that plays Gator Flight Song, antenna ball, stuff like that, and a framed Gator Deal we put over the Mantle. Slowly turning the house into a Gator Sports Bar.

Britain and France

A long time ago, Britain and France were at war. During
one battle, the French captured an English major. Taking
the major to their headquarters, the French general began
to question him. The French general asked, "Why do you
English officers all wear red coats? Don't you know the
red material makes you easier targets for us to shoot?"

In his bland English way, the major informed the general
that the reason--English officers wear red coats is so
that if they are shot, the blood won't show and the men
they are leading won't panic.

And that is why from that day to now all French Army
officers wear brown pants.
