BLIZZARD WARNING

It is 7:05 a.m. and dark out. Got maybe two or three inches of snow last night. It is 17.8 degrees F. here and a Blizzard Warning has been issued--that means sustained winds of 35 mph. Wind is 16 mph right now, wind chill around zero, humidity around 100%. Schools are closed. We have a level two snow warning, whatever that is.(means you can drive on the streets without being shot by police.) Patrick is at my feet, snoozing on his afghan in front of the space heater. We have a prediction for 15" of snow. With drifts, that means our lane will be under three feet of snow, Oh, boy.

"Renegade Republicans"? that's what the drive by media is calling those congressmen from that party that support the non-binding resolution that calls for America to lose the war. I have a better name for them: copperheads.

This vote will tell you who is a patriotic American in our congress and who is siding with our enemies, for whatever bizzarre reasons.

Well, the Grammy awards just suffered a humiliating and crushing blow from which they may not be able to recover in terms of ever having any legitimate or credible voice again in our society. Giving the Dixie Chicks a five-for-five for their awards for a political album, instead of for artistic achievement, has tarnished this award in the eyes of the thinking public. And doofus Jimmah Carter? Come on!!! At least the Oscars just allow silly speeches, they don't seem yet to vote politically.

Afghanistan, Iraq, OK, now Iran, then france!
