BAD NIGHT FOR CHRISTIANS

Well, Christianity took a big hit in the elections last night. The democrats took control of the House, and most likely the senate also.

There are no Christians in the democrat party. I'm talking about actual Christians, those who accept Jesus Christ as their Saviour and try to live their lives according to the Golden Rule and the Ten Commandments. Not the people who dress up and go to church every other Sunday for social purposes, having never read the Holy Bible.

The Litmus test for the actual Christians is ABORTION. While we don't endorse the concept of one issue decisiion making, this issue is too big to ignore. On a global historical scale, the slaughter of millions of innocent babies is huge. It pales beside Hitler's murder of nine million jews and gypsies, and Stalin's (He had a better press agent) murder of 20 million non-communists. The number of babies murdered by Americans thru legal abortion stands at a staggaring 43,000,000 plus.

The democrats pushing of universal abortion, their acceptance of the Supreme Court invented
"Wall of Separation of Church and State", their approval of No prayer in School, No Ten Commandments posted anywhere, etc. etc. etc.--Their support of Islamic rights over Christian rights, Their support of the Islmo-fascists in the War Against Terrorism, these things all bode ill for Christians.

But not to worry. Christianity was born in turmoil, and has survived all sorts of attacks thruout history.

In the END, we win anyway!

What? You don't want to know the truth. You can't handle the truth. You want the truth? OK, here it is:

Jesus is sitting on a rock on a hllside, surrounded by the deciples. A young women approaches him.

She kneels down before him, her eyes averted under her shawl.

She is weeping, quietly. "Rabbi", she says "I lay down with a strange man, and now I am with child. I have no husband and am shunned from my village and have nowhere to go. The Physician says he can rip the child from me and I will be as a virgin again, and return to my village. What should I do?"

Jesus looks down on her, his gentle eyes have the beginnings of tears.

"Verily I say unto you: It is your body, child, do as you would. Let the Physician pull the offending babe out of you, crush his skull and throw him on the trash-heap, and return to your village. Sin no more."

I don't think so.
