THREE HOURS OF GLORY

It's 8:23 a.m. and Junior just went downstairs to sack out on the couch and Patrick joined him.

Well, our precious Gators dissapointed once more, as is their wont to do. Pitt fell, Duke fell, leaving the Gators the only undefeated team in the nation, and bound for a number one ranking if only they could beat an unranked conference opponent. Not to be. With 39 seconds left and the game TIED, Gators lose to Vols 76-80. They led the entire first half with the exception of when the Vols led by one for about twelve seconds, and by as much as eight only. Second half they led for the first ten minutes, then gave up the lead to the Vols , who never led by more than THREE, and the score was tied several times, but the Gators never got back. Oh, well. And with the gators shooting 55 and the Vols 43!! Amazing. But not startling. We knew it was going to happen. The Gators are always over-ranked by the coaches, then when they don't meet expectations, are under-ranked. Look at Football. We NEVER should have been ranked 5th, but at the end we are 18th--and we should be around TEN--so it goes, what do they know. Gator BB should be ranked, now, at around 12, not that they will be...
