ROUNDBALLERS GO TO 17-0


It's 6:44 a.m. and Patrick has chosen to join Junior who is asleep on the couch downstairs.
Well, the #2 ranked UF Gators have moved to 17-0 with a 113-62 victory over the Savannah State Tigers. I suppose there was a reason this now 1-18 team scheduled with the Gators. I'm sure no one twisted their arm. Really, an undersized, outmatched team. NOthing to brag about here. The Gators were as kind as they could be, I guess, with 3 walkons and 2 freshmen playing the final ten minutes or so. Gators won by 51 points. (Colorado beat SSU by 64). Hats off to the hearts of these guys. They played hard right up to the end. (One of their startrs is 5'9"). Prior to last nights scrimmage, the Gators were averaging a 20 point maargin of victory, and the Tigers a 19 point margin of defeat.
