So, now the Supreme Court has decided to rule on the constitutionality of D.C.'s handgun ban. This law-making by the court will underscore how important is power of a Republican president to nominate justices... Saw some idiot jerk on the tube, posing as an expert, declare, with a straight face, that It's "always been interpreted that way" after lying about the 2nd amendment being, not an individual right, but a right reserved to "militias" only. It's one of the techniques used by the totalitarians: The Big Lie--tell it often enough and it becomes de facto truth. Another of their tactics is to disarm the populace... Khruschev's shoe pounding couldn't bring us communism, but Hoolywood and the dimocrats will...

On a more positive note, my projections on the Heisman Trophy, an award given, not for lifetime achievement, but to the BEST college football player in the country for each year. There is no stipulation as to what year a recipient must be in his class:

It is Tim Tebow's to lose.

If he has a GREAT game against FSU Saturday, He wins.
If he has a terrible game, and the Gators go down in defeat, he loses.
Anything in between, and it's a tossup-based on what his rivals do.

The reality of the situation is that the built in bias of the voters precludes underclassment from winning. Justice demands that Tebow win, and if he doesn't, the credibility of the silver chalice will be forever tarnished, and this award will fade into obscurity as irrelevant...
