SIXTY AND COUNTING
What a thoughtful Birthday present the Gators sent me. A 51 to 31 blowout of the Spurriercocks in their house. Oh, My!!!
It's just what I hoped for. And I'm sure the cocks enjoyed the free touchdown the refs (terrible job all nite, boys!) gave them. What , they would have scored anyway since they were on the one yard line? Not so fast! The Gators held Vandy on nine consecutive goal s line stances last week...
Apparently it's OK with the refs for cocks to commit Sideline Assaults and NO PENALTY. (Offsetting? come, now.)
All in all it was a hoot, tho. Cocks have given up over 1,100 yards the last two weeks.
Meyer was content to run out the clock at the end of the game while approaching scoring possession, just like he did at Vandy. Something must have happened, Stevie-boy must have done/said something for that to end and for Tebow to suddenly throw a touchdown pass.
Timmy suffered two drops in the end zone that should have been drops...
And how Sweet it is:
I can see it now: "Welcome folks, to Zook Stadium here in sunny Champagne-Urban-Zooksville, for the 52nd meeting of the Fighting Zooks and the (Insert team name). Coach Ron Zook, who is also the President of the University...yada yadda yada."
TTYL
"It's been a long road, getting from there to here..."
Oh, one last thought. I would hope if the Gators are ever getting blown out in the Swamp, the fans will be respectful and supportive and not leave in mass droves like they did last night in Columbia. The Cock Stadium was literally empty when the final whistle blew. Makes you feel sorry for the players, really.
The one thing Steve (Who will always be a GATOR) could have done to make the night perfect, would have been to throw his visor a few times...where was it, anyway? Plenty of lost opportunities for visor fun, especially with Super-should get-the-Heisman-Tebow making a career high FIVE RUSHING TOUCHDOWNS...

Columbia, S.C. – The 17th-ranked Florida football team (7-3, 5-3 SEC) recorded 536 yards of total offense and defeated South Carolina (6-5, 3-5 SEC), 51-31, Saturday night at Williams-Brice Stadium.
Sophomore quarterback (Tim Tebow, Jacksonville, Fla.) continued his record-breaking campaign in his first year as a starter, rushing for a career-high five touchdowns while throwing two scores through the air.
Tebow broke Florida’s single-season rushing touchdown record and padded on to his staggering totals to give him 19 rushing touchdowns on the year. The two-time SEC Offensive Player of the Week garnered a career-best 304 yards passing, completing 22 of 32 passes and totaled 424 yards of total offense. He gained 120 yards on the ground on 26 carries, one rush shy of his personal-best he set earlier this year at Ole Miss.
Already the single-season SEC record-holder for touchdowns by a quarterback, Tebow is closing on the all-time Div. I leader mark by a quarterback, Chance Harridge from Air Force, who had 22 rushing touchdowns in 2002.
Tebow broke the school record for the most rushing touchdowns in a game in school history, besting four previous marks set by Jesse Palmer, Fred Taylor, Rammy Ramsdell and Tommy Owens, who all had four in a game. He also extended his school-record touchdown game scoring streak to 12 games.
HAPPY VETERANS DAY TO ALL VETS!!!
GO GATORS!!!

Now there are only two division 1 schools left undefeated. Hawaii, and ...Kansas? Who'd a thunk?
Oh did I mention? I am from Kansas.
