GOODBYE FEBRUARY GOOD RIDDANCE!


It is 6:48 a.m. and dark out at 28.7 degrees F. and Patrick is alsleep at my feet on his afghan.



Well, Gators basketball season is effectively over. Third SEC loss in four games. Down to Tennessee by as much as 27 points, they rallied back to within nine, but too little too late. Guess the most we can hope for, for the rest of the season, is respectfull losses, so our new rallying cry will be:



GO GATORS-- LOSE BY LESS THAN 15!!



Just a few regular season losses left, then a loss in the SEC tourney, then first round loss in the NCAA, then it's over. Don't know what happened to these boys...Now ANYBODY can beat them...They will for sure fall out of the top ten, should fall out of the top 25. For a team that was almost unbeatable for most of the season to fall so far is VERY curious--and it's not just that other teams are playing up to UF--this team is terrible right now. Can't shoot, turnovers out of control, can't rebound, no defense whatsover...
