The Gators quarterback, who won the award after 32 passing touchdowns and 23 rushing scores, starts with seven of 10 first-place votes and 47 total points.
Ohio State's Chris Wells, Missouri's Chase Daniel and Georgia's Knowshon Moreno each had one first-place votes. Wells holds down second place, well behind Tebow at 24 points. Daniel and Moreno is tied for third at 20 points.
Pat White of West Virginia rounds out the top five.
