MARK REICHT'S SENDING HIS WHOLE BENCH OUT TO CELEBRATE IN THE END-ZONE AFTER THEIR FIRST TOUCHDOWN WAS THE WORST DISPLAY OF UNSPORTSMAN-LIKE CONDUCT BY A COLLEGE FOOTBALL COACH WE HAVE EVER SEEN, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF WOODY HAYES SLUGGING A PLAYER. HE DID NOT DENY IT WAS PLANNED WHEN CONFRONTED BY SIDELINE MEDIA. HE ADMITTED TO TELLING THE TEAM TO COMMIT THIS DANGEROUS PENALTY BEFORE THE GAME. THE NCAA SHOULD SEVERELY SANCTION THE COACH AND THE SCHOOL FOR THIS. AND I DON'T MEAN A PALTRY FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLAR FINE WHICH MEANS SQUAT TO A BIG PROGRAM OR A MULTI-MILLIONAIRE COACH. WE DON'T THINK REICHT SHOULD BE FIRED OR THE GAME FORFEIT. BUT WE DO THINK THE NCAA SHOULD SEND A MESSAGE WITH A BAN ON A BOWL, OR TAKING OF SCHOLARSHIPS, BECAUSE BIG TIME PROGRAMS JUST BRAG ABOUT THEIR FINES FOR EXCESSIVE CELEBRATION OR RUSHING THE FIELD. MARK REICHT'S UNPRECEDENTED PREMEDITATED PUTTING OF TWO FOOTBALL TEAMS IN HARM'S WAY MUST NOT GO UNPUNISHED. WE'RE SURE NOBODY, ESPECIALLY THE MEDIA,WILL AGREE WITH US ON THIS, BUT OUR MORAL COMPASS IS TRUE HERE IN FLY-OVER LAND AND WE CAN SEE CLEARLY, EVEN IF OTHERS CAN'T. IN OUR EYES, THIS COACH HAS DEGRADED HIMSELF AND HIS TEAM TO THE DEPTHS OF IRRELEVANCY WITH HIS INCREDIBLY STUPID ACT.
