It is 6:20 a.m. and clear at 61.0 degrees F. and a few hearty souls are still up at the bonfire at Camp Serenity. Patrick is here by my feet, curled up on his afghan fast asleep.

I heard a sureal broadcast on the truck radio yesterday on NPR. I thought I was caught in a tear in the time-space continuum. Here was this British Bitch interviewing some limey college professer, re the death of Raul Castro's wife. She was with the Revolution from the beginning and both of these bolsheviks were singing high praises to all the good works she had done in her life supporting the Revolution and advancing the rights of women in Cuba. It sounded as if they were making a case for her canonization. I felt like I was listening to a feed from Radio Moscow in the sixties. I didn't know people like this existed. Oh, wait, yes I do, Michael Moore...
