It is 7:22 a.m. and clear and breezy at a cool 54.2 degrees. Patrick is curled up on his afghan with his head resting on my foot.

 Speaking of Patrick he got a good workout in the woods yesterday, collecting three ticks and crossing streams and climbing up cliffs.

 We see Barry Obama-rama is getting Secret Service protection--wonder what's up with that??



picked and consumed two asparagus tips out of our patch--kind of skimpy so far this year--may have to just let it all go to seed...
