GATORS DOMINATE VOLS?

Gators whipped Tennessee today 94 to 78 (+16) =--That was about the spread.

Gators jumped to a 12-2 lead then it was downhill all the way for the Vols. Trailed by as much as 27 in the First Half. At the half, score was UF 50 Tenn. 24 --Gators outrebounded the Vols 26-6 (17-3 defensive) --now that's domination! Florida shot at 56%, Tennessee at 38%.

Florida made 92 % of their FT's, Tennessee only 22%.

I thought it was going to be a humniliating blow-out, like Prarie View (61), Southern (56), Tenn.-Chatt. (49), No. Florida (46) I could go on like Ohio State (26). Anyway then comes the second half:

Vols outsacore Gators 54-44; Vols freethrows improve to 71% for the game, Gators fall to 74 % for the game. Vols outrebound the Gators 20-17. Huh! Now there's a turn-around for ya! Gators were lucky to win! (Vols came to within 14!).

Oh well. I didn't see the game, so I don't know what happened--I know the Gators started turning the ball over, but who knows?
