Transferring more loose photos to disk. I will share the more fascinating ones with you. (fascinating to me, that is). This is me washing (ugh) dishes in Clearwater, Fla. I was surprised at this photo. This means I've been washing dishes for over 50 years! both personally and professionally.

I think my first professional dishwashing job was at the First Church in Clearwater, cleaning up after Church suppers. Then, washed dishes when working at Krystal and Burger Chef. And washed dishes at the fraternity for free meals in college. And after leaving UF in 1969, first job was washing dishes at Azure Tides Hotel , Lido Beach, Fla. Worked my way up from pots and pans to dish sprayer. Personally washed over 1,000 dishes and associated silverware on Easter Sunday 1969. Since then, most all dishwashing has been personal. Including today.
