Katie Couric ended her week in third place on friday. Oops! Even with Walter Cronkite introducing her and all. We watched Tuesday, just so we could see Rush. That night, her Anti-Bush, Anti-War propaganda only lasted six minutes, but she did throw in an extra 2 minutes of anti-Republican crap.

Saw a piece on TV about a dolphin, a baby that was rescued, and is in Clearwater (yea!). He somehow lost his tail. Estimate for a prosthetic tail (and they have been made before) is a cool one hundred grand. What????

Hey I'll take that job and throw in a prosthetic SUV to haul him around in and still make a cool profit! He'll need 3 or 4 of them as he grows, so you're looking at a half a mil (What no quantity discount?) . They've started raising the money. This is insane--why not spend the money on prosthetics for HUMANS who can't afford them? Or some other suitable charity? Here in America, of course. These are the same people who will be voting for your president. Like democracy now?

I love bottle nose dolphins. I used to watch porpoises roll around in Tampa Bay. As a youth I made a study of them. I remember one book I read said that potentially their brains were better than ours. Weighed more and more folds per square inch...

Now I like them because they are a wonderful example of how foolish Darwinism is and a great little bit of evidence for what they call intelligent design. They have fossile evidence, they say, of the evolution of dolphins' physical sonar equipment. How it evolved into the sophisticated, intricate system it is today. What they don't tell you is WHY it evolved, considering the fact that all the interim stages were useless--Like building a truck on an assembly line--no good til it finally rolls off at the end. (there are blueprints)--They never talk about that.
