Thanks to Mark and Daggy for an outstanding event: Trailmix 12 "A Sea of Reeds" (Our First). We ate our obligatory pop-tarts and followed the Preacher Man into the wilderness and I felt a strange compunction to make a basket of reeds. I came out of it with just a few leaches, but Wheel Dog got trenchfoot, I think.

Always good to see the venerable Sgt. Doobies and have an opportunity to lecture him on the evils of Tobbacky.

Where but at a Trailmix could you wander down a path in an evergreen forest with a bunch of backpackers singing UFO Phil's theme song to "Coast to Coast'?

Thanks to Team Shydog for Shoffering us down here. Good time quaffing a few cold ones at Clemm's with a genuine Groundspeak semi-lackey (Tried to get him drunk on pink lemonade so as to pump him for inside info, but alas it was not to be...He's tough!
