GRASS IS GROWING LIKE SPRING!!

It is 5:35 a.m. and 60.8 degrees and dark out. Patrick E. Brownspot III is asleep at my feet, curled up on his afghan. He was unusually mellow when he got up this morning.

Had a strange dream last night. For some reason I was back in Vietnam, in the army, but in civilian clothes, the situation being not of my own choice. I reported to this office, where guys in civilian clothes were interviewing me, like for a job. I decided I would be cordial, but brutally honest in my answers to questions, i.e. not just feed them what I thought they wanted to hear. So this guy never asked me anything, just gave a long speech, like he liked to hear himself talk. Then I woke up. Who knows what triggered that?

The grass is growing here at a terrific rate, just like springtime, after all the precipitation we've had. So lot's of mowing to do. Goody.

"They're not rules actually. More like what you'd call 'guidelines'." Who said that? Was it Captain Jack Sparrow or Jeremy Irish?

Patrick is getting a lot of doggy friends on his DogBook page (Part of Facebook). There are over three thousand JRT's with their own page. Ought to be some money to be made there...
