SECOND CHANCE


It is 5:41 a.m. , dark out, 50.2 degrees F. and Patrick is still in bed. Liberty Mutual or some such idiot organization had a one hour program on TV last weekend showcasing the ten finalists in their "Coach of the Year" Contest. All ten probably deserved to be there; some of the non-1-A coaches seemed pretty spectaclar. Jim Tressel and Lloyd Carr were among them. Urban Meyer wasn't. That's bizzarre. It's Coach of the Year, not Decade or last few years or Career. How can they slight a guy who brings a 7-5 program to a National Championship game in just the second year? If the Gators win the National Championship, these guys are going to look like chumps. As it is they just look like biased assholes. PBS is re-showing their vocal Riverdance extravaganza--Celtic Woman. We are moving Mairead Nesbitt, the Irish Fiddle player to our Top 25 list of Sexy Woman.
