LOST

OK, so it's 8:54 a.m. and 17.8 degrees out, Patrick and Junior are in bed.

Junior and I consumed all our Super Bowl snacks while watching the LOST roll-up last night.

Getting ready for a trip up north to Southside Soda Shop to check out their Fried Liverwurst Sandwiches. More later.

JOHN MCCAIN FOR PRESIDENT!!

It is 6:00 am and 5.0 degrees F. outside. We were at 52 degrees and a thunderstorm complete with lightening last night. Rapid drop in temperature and howling winds all night and still roaring at 29 mph right now, steady, with gusts up to 49 so far. Patrick and Junior are in bed.

Well, McCain beat Romney last night in the Florida Primary. Hispanic vote probably put him over, since he is an amnesty guy. Mitt got to within one percentage point, then gradually fell to five--don't know how it ended up. Rush says he won't vote if McCain is the nominee.

Junior says if it's head to head with O'Bama in the general, he will vote for the Magic Negro.

I'm beginning to feel that way...

But it all comes down to who will put constitutionalists on the the Supreme Court --that's probably the litmus test for this election since there won't be a conservative in the White House one way or the other--that ship sailed.

We were rooting for you Moderate Mitt--dang!!

If that weasel Rudy G. throws in the towel and throws in with the OLD guy, that will really piss us off. Rudy is a HUGE disappointment isn't he? Go back to New York with your daughter or your wife or whatever she is...

TED KENNEDY FOR PRESIDENT! WHY SETTLE?

It is 5:32 a.m. and Patrick is in bed and Junior is in bed and it is 47.3 degrees F. and we have a winter weather advisory, whatever the hell that is. Blowing like hell all night.

One Year ago today:
It is 8:25 a.m and 17.1 degrees out. Patrick is on my lap.

Two years ago today: It's 6:23 a.m. and Junior is at work and Stephen and another guy are downstairs watching Sin City on Dvd.

FROM THE INBOX, A variation on an old joke:

Two 90-year-old women, Rose and Barb, had been friends all of their lives. When
it was clear that Rose was dying, Barb visited her every day. One day Barb said,
"Rose, we both loved playing women's softball all our lives, and we played in
all through High School. Please do me one favor: when you get to Heaven, somehow
you
must let me know if there's women's softball there."

Rose looked up at Barb from her deathbed, "Barb, you've been my best friend for
many years. If it's at all possible, I'll do this favor for you." Shortly aft er
that, Rose passed on.

At midnight a couple of nights later, Barb was awakened from a sound sleep by a
blinding flash of white light and a voice calling out to her, "Barb, Barb."

"Who is it?" asked Barb, sitting up suddenly. "Who is it?"

"Barb -- it's me, Rose."

"You're not Rose. Rose just died."

"I'm telling you, it's me, Rose," insisted the voice

"Rose! Where are you?"

"In Heaven," replied Rose. "I have some really good news and a little bad news."

"Tell me the good news first," said Barb.

"The good news," Rose said, "is that there's Softball in Heaven. Better yet, all
of our old buddies who died before us are here, too. Better than that, we're all
young again. Better still, it's always springtime, and it never rains or snows.
And best of all, we can play softball all we want, and we never get tired"

"That's fantastic," said Barb.. "It's beyond my wildest dreams! So what's the <>bad news?"

"You're pitching Tuesday."

OSAMA OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT!

Just listened to Ted Kennedy's speech gushing over the Magic Negro and pledging his support for Barry for President.

Sorry, Ted we can't vote for a whipper-snapper like that for President. His name alone disqualifies him with us. What? We're prejudiced, you say? Of course we are!!. Our American presidents are named George, Thomas, John, Richard, Ronald, Theodore etc. not "Hussein".

Teddy, the youngest brother of JFK and a famous drunken killer of young women, the dean of the Democrat-Socialist-Progressive Party, wants in on the ground floor of the origin of an historic first: A Black President. Historic first of a woman president? Nah, nobody counts Hillary as a woman--she's just a Bill Clinton Clone, without the social charms.

It's true Obama bin Osama or whatever his name is has SOME negro blood, but less than 50% for sure. He's not a real Black, he's like a house servant.

America is ready for a broad or a colored fellah for president. But neither of these.

Obama's ONLY credentials as a Black Candidate are that he's part Black.

He is singularly not prepared to lead the Free World portion of this planet.

There have been some DINSTINGUISHED, EXPERIENCED black leaders in the last decade that would have been qualified. Not this guy, tho. Whether he's a socialist or not.

As well, Ms Clinton is even less qualified, plus she is universally despised.

These people are not Colin Powell or Elizabeth Dole...

These people are jokes, dangerous jokes...

GATORS "GET BY' VANDERBILT...

NICK

It is 5:04 a.m. and Junior and Patrick are asleep.

USA today, that's what they said about the Gators this morning, who should , I'm predicting , break back in the coaches Poll at #20 (At Least).

Number 13 Vanderbilt? (17-3) No more--Gators (18-3) beat them at O'Dome seventh straight time--Went to a 34-6 lead on a 23 POINT RUN!!! Won at +22 86-64!! (Unranked Florida was a 6.5 favorite--guess the O'Dome did that for us??). VANDY WILL DROP TO #23--Let's see!

OH MY!!!

Ted Kennedy, remember him? Brother to JFK? The corpulent drunkard Socialist-Progressive or whatever it is these nazi bastards call themselves these days? Somebody sobered him up long enuff--yes, yes, he's the guy that killed Mary Jo Kopecni (sic?) and fled the scene-- and he

ENDORSED THE MAGIC NEGRO FOR PRESIDENT!

(We're pretty sure he has some black blood in him.. both of 'em)

oh my!!

This has GOT to really yank Hillary's chain, REALLY HARD!

WAY TO GO OBAMA!!!!

OUR FAVORITE ATHELETE FROM THE MOTHER COUNTRY...

OUR FAVORITE HOTTIE FROM IRAN...

It is 6:21 a.m. and I kicked Patrick out of bed and he sauntered off to Junior's room and got in bed. 21.3 degrees.

Oh, by the way Maria kicked ass in the Australian Open, her third, I think, major... And Obama really kicked Hillary's lard-ass!! Big Time!! in South Carolina, where the Breck Boy came in a distant third (time to quit?)

We're rooting for Hussein Obama Rama to win the nomination of the Socialist Progressive Democrat Party, because he'll be the easiest to beat for the Republicrats--And the Shrew from Hope must be stopped at all costs.

Watched Catherine Bell (remember JAG?) the other night in "The Good Witch" on the Hallmark Channel-- a feel good movie--I'm gonna tape it--and this Persian Beauty, at 40, has NEVER looked so amazingly HOT!!! Really.

I've got corn chips, Salsa and cheese dip.

From the Inbox:

A farmer had some puppies he needed to sell. He painted a sign advertising the 4 pups. And set about nailing it to a post on the edge of his yard. As he was driving the last nail into the post, he felt a tug on his overalls. He looked down into the eyes of little boy.
'Mister,' he said, 'I want to buy one of your puppies'
'Well,' said the farmer, as he rubbed the sweat off the back of his neck, 'These puppies come from fine parents and cost a good deal of money.'
The boy dropped his head for a moment. Then reaching deep into his pocket, he pulled out a handful of change and held it up to the farmer.
'I've got thirty-nine cents. Is that enough to take a look?'
'Sure,' said the farmer. And with that he let out a whistle. 'Here, Dolly!' he called. Out from the doghouse and down the ramp ran
Dolly followed by four little balls of fur.
The little boy pressed his face against the chain link fence. His eyes danced with delight.
As the dogs made their way to the fence, the little boy noticed something else stirring inside the doghouse. Slowly another little ball appeared, this one noticeably smaller. Down the ramp it slid. Then in a somewhat awkward manner, the little pup began hobbling toward the others, doing its best to catch up....
'I want that one,' the little boy said, pointing to the runt. The farmer knelt down at the boy's side and said, 'Son, you don't want that puppy. He will never be able to run and play with you like these other dogs would.'
With that the little boy stepped back from the fence, reached down, and began rolling up one leg of his trousers.
In doing so he revealed a steel brace running down both sides of his leg attaching itself to a specially made shoe.
Looking back up at the farmer, he said, 'You see sir, I don't run too well myself, and he will need someone who understands.'
With tears in his eyes, the farmer reached down and picked up the little pup.
Holding it carefully handed it to the little boy.
'How much?' asked the little boy. 'No charge,' answered the farmer, 'There's no charge for love.'
The world is full of people who need someone who understands .

Countdown to Iditarod 2008

The Iditarod Trial Sled Dog Race is well on its way to staging the largest field of marathon competitors in the 26-year history of "The Last Great Race on Earth." Eighty-seven mushers started the race back in 2004 -- as of today, more than 100 mushers have entered!

Talk About Competitive!

2007 Iditarod Champion, Lance Mackey, will be back on the runners again this year. Mackey will be joined on the Northern Route of The Iditarod Trail by Mitch Seavey, four-time Iditarod Champions Martin Buser and Jeff King, and five-time Iditarod Champion Rick Swenson.

By the way, back in 2002 Martin Buser shattered the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race record by reaching Nome in 8 days, 22 hours, 46 minutes, and 2 seconds. It promises to be a great race!

HILLARY FOR PRESIDENT!!!!

It is 6:30 am and 23.9 degrees and Patrick got up with me and promptly got into bed with Junior.

Went caching yesterday with Wheel Dog, Buddaman and Team Shydog. GREAT WALK IN THE WOODS AT 2 DEGREES F. Ate lunch at Lagro Cafe and was horribly disappointed--out of tenderloins and dumb waitress, who really didn't want to be there, didn't know her job and was sullen.

May not go back now... Second time they were out of pork...

Today is Hillary's big day--We'll see.

BLIND MAN IN A BIKER BAR

It is 5:37 a.m. and Patrick got up and went back to bed with Junior. It is 0.0 degrees out and guess what?

RESERVE A TABLE FOR FOUR AT THE GEOCACHING CAFE!!!

(Hopefully by the time we get going it will be at least five).

OK, so the government's gonna doll out a big check to EVERYBODY except the p0or illegal mexicans. Hey, where's all these dollars coming from? We printing it? or borrowing it from the ChiComs????

From the Inbox this morning:

BLIND MAN IN A BIKER BAR

A blind man wanders into an all girls biker bar by mistake.

He finds his way to a bar stool and orders some coffee.

After sitting there for awhile, he yells to the server, "Hey, you wanna hear a blond joke?"

The bar immediately falls absolutely silent. In a very deep, husky voice the woman next to him says,

"Before you tell that joke, sir, I think it is only fair -- given that you're blind -- that you should know five things:

1. The bartender is a blond girl with a baseball bat.

2. The bouncer is a blond girl.

3. I'm a 6 foot tall, 175 lb. blond woman with a black belt in karate.

4. The woman sitting next to me is blond and a professional weightlifter.

5. The lady to your right is blond and a professional wrestler.

Now, think about it seriously, Mister. Do you still wanna tell that joke?"

The blind man thinks for a second, shakes his head, and mutters,

"No... Not if I'm gonna have to explain it five times."
